Siesta Key is just 55 miles south of Tampa (& the famous Busch Gardens) on Florida’s Gulf Coast. Siesta Key Beach ranks in the world’s top 10, with safe swimming and lifeguards. The Gulf Coast city of Sarasota is the cultural capital of Florida, with numerous galleries, the ballet, live theatre, the opera and the famous Ringling Museum. |
All this is within easy reach of our Siesta Key villa. If you want good food then you’ll not be disappointed, from excellent deli rolls, bar food and restaurants just 5 minutes from the villa, in Siesta Key Village to top class restaurants a short drive away in Sarasota.
Excellent shopping is available in nearby Sarasota or at the Factory Outlets at Ellenton.
If you’re looking for sports then there are an abundance of golf courses within easy reach of the villa. Tennis, fishing (big game fishing, beach fishing or fishing on inland water) and scuba diving are all available in the Sarasota / Siesta Key area. Or why not hire a jet ski, powerboat or sailing boat. |

The area is a bird watchers paradise. You can see parrots, ospreys, egrets, pelicans, herons, ibis, spoonbills, storks, cranes, terns, eagles and vultures – even hummingbirds in the garden!
Dolphins are often spotted off shore and Manatee are regularly seen in the inland waterways. |

The Villa
Our villa was constructed in 2005 to the highest specification and safety standards, sleeps up to 8 people and is fully air-conditioned.
The en-suite master bedroom has a balcony overlooking the heated private swimming pool and spa.
There are 3 other bedrooms, a double ‘Queen’, a twin-bedded room and a dayroom/bedroom with a sofa that converts into 2 single or a double bed.
The fully furnished kitchen has a breakfast bar and a dining area adjacent. It is fitted out with granite worktops and stainless steel appliances (it even has a wine cooler). |

The utility room is fully equipped with a washing machine and tumble dryer.
There is a TV and DVD player in each of the bedrooms and in the lounge, (please note that the DVD players may not play English DVDs) |
There is a bathroom, with shower and w.c. on the first floor and a ground floor w.c.
The lounge also has a music system, which allows music to be piped throughout the ground floor and lanai (patio). There is a 2 car garage. All bedding and towels are provided, but please bring your own beach towels.
Location
The villa is on Siesta Key and is 2 blocks away from the beach and one block from Siesta Village. The villa is on a quiet residential road and the beach is less than 5 minutes walk away (we know because we’ve timed it!).
The beach is spectacular and rated as one of the world top 10 – powdery white sands run into the warm turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico – the sunsets from the beach are not to be missed! Siesta Village has bars, restaurants, a supermarket and many boutiques and shops – all just 5 minutes walk from the villa.
Getting there
Fly direct from Gatwick to Tampa International airport with British Airways or in-direct from Bristol and other regional airports to Cincinnati or Atlanta and then on to Sarasota airport, which is only 20-30 minutes from the villa.
